Swoosh, Running all nigh long

Montreal, 2010 - Performance - Jacket, Christmas Light, Electronic - Performance presented at the Raflost Electronic Art Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Swoosh is a metaphor on identity and it's notion of alienation. Filmed and photographed in a parc near a dock, this project is a wink at the proverb: "the grass is greener in the neighbor's garden". Through a visual allegory, the lights from the dock becomes a galaxy and the performer: a shooting star. The version produce in Iceland is an allegory to fulfill performance requirement through underwhelming conditions such as being able to run all night long during the summer solstice in Iceland which last less than 2 hours.
